Enjoyed the cozy atmosphere! Breakfast options like fresh fruit and bagels were good. The open windows offered a refreshing breeze at night, although light sleepers might want earplugs. Best spot for peaceful nature walks. Nearby intersection provided decent cell service.

I appreciated the lovely grounds that led to a beautiful creek, which my dog enjoyed, especially in the fresh snow. While the rooms were clean, they lacked air conditioning, and noise from the road might be bothersome for light sleepers.

Black bear lodge is in a great spot, just a short drive to hunter, wyndam, and belleayre mountains. The rooms are spacious, with the beautiful queen room having a fridge and microwave. We loved that the grounds lead to a hiking trail by a stream, perfect for our dog to explore.

Had a blast during our two-night stay! The comfy room with a full kitchen made it easy to whip up snacks, and we totally loved chilling by the fire pit and unwinding with some board games. Just a heads up, the WiFi could be spotty at times, but it wasn't a big deal for us 😊

Perfect spot for nature lovers

We spent 2 nights here and loved the location! It's close to the slopes and has a nice hiking trail right behind it. I appreciated the dog-friendly vibe and the big rooms with kitchen stuff. The only thing was the lack of outlets in the rooms, made charging devices kinda tricky.
